Job Description
A Principal Product Manager responsible for developing and overseeing fraud and risk management systems for consumer credit products, ensuring secure, seamless user experiences while reducing losses through strategic and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect systems, controls, and decisioning to protect credit products, payments, and homeowner experiences
- Own strategy and execution for fraud and risk domains to reduce losses
- Align partners around signals and defenses related to fraud and risk
- Drive roadmap initiatives to improve fraud detection and risk management
- Serve as subject matter expert in fraud vectors, risk modeling, and regulatory compliance
- Operate with technical fluency and hands-on approach to develop and implement risk solutions
Requirements
- Deep technical fluency and hands-on rigor in fraud vectors, risk modeling, and regulatory alignment.
- Experience in architecting systems, controls, and decisioning that protect credit products, consumer payments, and homeowner experiences.
- Ownership of strategy and execution for defined fraud and risk domains, including driving roadmap initiatives that materially reduce losses.
- Ability to operate with significant autonomy in a fast-moving fintech environment, doing the work, not just directing it.
- Systems-level thinking and the ability to bring clarity to complex challenges related to fraud and risk.
- Experience aligning partners around signals and defenses for fraud and risk management.
- Ability to function as the go-to subject matter expert across fraud vectors, risk modeling, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in developing and implementing fraud detection systems, risk controls, and decisioning frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills to bring clarity to complex fraud and risk challenges.
- Experience in managing or owning the fraud and risk product functions for consumer products.
