Job Description
The Principal Product Manager will lead the development and strategic vision of AI-powered consumer applications, transforming how homeowners and energy providers interact with and manage their energy footprint, with a focus on creating an AI copilot that anticipates needs and drives outcomes across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of AI-powered applications for consumer products.
- Own the design and integration of AI agent experiences within the Homeowner App and Virtual Power Plant platform.
- Drive adoption of AI features and ensure the AI agent becomes a trusted copilot for users.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement consumer application flows and integrations.
- Contribute to the strategic vision for AI-powered consumer-facing products.
Requirements
- Experience leading the development of AI-powered applications that transform how homeowners and external energy providers interact with and manage their home and energy footprint.
- Proven ability to operate at a highly strategic, cross-functional, and execution-driven level, contributing to the vision for how AI powers consumer-facing products.
- Experience driving adoption of AI-powered consumer applications and ensuring the AI agent becomes a trusted and indispensable copilot for homeowners and external energy providers.
- Full ownership of consumer application experiences, flows, and integrations that bring AI agents to life, working closely with engineering teams responsible for the Homeowner App, Virtual Power Plant platform, and AI Platform team.
- Strong understanding of how to introduce and integrate AI agents into consumer journeys, including tasks such as taking on tasks, anticipating needs, delivering insights, and proactively driving outcomes.
- Ability to contribute to the strategic vision for AI-powered products and ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Experience working in a collaborative work culture and thriving in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities, reassignments, or additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers, with flexibility to alter or change job responsibilities as needed.
