A Solar Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing residential and commercial solar systems onsite, ensuring the proper functioning of photovoltaic, storage, and off-grid systems to support the company's mission of providing clean, affordable, and reliable solar energy.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial solar systems
Resolve onsite concerns related to photovoltaic, storage, and off-grid systems
Operate tools and equipment necessary for solar system repairs and maintenance
Requirements
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Residential and Commercial Photovoltaic, Storage, and Off-Grid solar systems.
Ability to be the technical expert to resolve concerns related to solar installations onsite.
Experience in solar system troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair.
Ability to operate motor vehicles and travel by car up to 10% of the time.
Ability to perform light lifting and carrying under 15 lbs.
Ability to perform straight pulling and simple grasping tasks.
Ability to walk, stand, and sit as part of daily job functions.
Ability to operate office equipment.
Ability to see and identify colors.
Hearing with aid is acceptable.
Ability to write, read, and tell time.
Physical ability to perform job duties in indoor environments and work closely with others or alone as required.
