A Solar Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing residential and commercial solar systems onsite, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial solar systems, including photovoltaic, storage, and off-grid systems
Resolve onsite concerns related to solar installations
Operate and handle tools and equipment for system maintenance and repairs
Travel to job sites and work both independently and with team members
Requirements
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Residential and Commercial Photovoltaic, Storage, and Off-Grid solar systems.
Ability to resolve concerns related to solar installations onsite as the technical expert.
Experience with solar system installation, maintenance, or repair (implied by responsibility for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing solar systems).
Ability to operate motor vehicles and travel to job sites, with the capacity to travel by car 10% of the time.
Physical ability to perform light lifting and carrying tasks under 15 lbs, straight pulling, and simple grasping.
Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods during work activities.
Ability to operate office equipment as needed for job functions.
Ability to see, identify colors, and hear (with aid) to perform job duties effectively.
Ability to write, read, count, and tell time accurately.
High school diploma or equivalent (implied as minimum educational requirement).
