The Compliance Monitoring and Testing Specialist is responsible for assessing compliance risks and controls within the organization by conducting monitoring and testing activities, supporting the second line of defense to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Assess compliance risks and controls implemented by business units
Conduct monitoring and testing of compliance processes
Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls
Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend improvements
Requirements
Assess compliance risks and controls implemented by the business units through the monitoring and testing function as part of the second line of defense.
Work primarily conducted in an office setting, with some positions possibly allowing remote work through the use of technology at management discretion.
Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time while performing duties.
Use hands and fingers to operate technology, office machinery such as printers and scanners, and to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
Utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity to perform job functions.
Communicate clearly, either verbally or in writing, with others.
Exhibit a high level of flexibility regarding duties that may be situationally assigned outside of the job description to ensure organizational efficiency.
