Job Description
The AVP, Senior Manager, Financial Planning Analysis supports the bank's financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while working closely with senior management on strategic initiatives such as capital planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the VP or Director of Financial Planning Analysis with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial analysis for the bank and holding company
- Support strategic initiatives such as capital stress testing, capital planning, and Board reporting
- Analyze business unit and lending profitability
- Maximize utilization of Workday General Ledger and Planning tools
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, including external and internal benchmarking
Requirements
- Assist the VP, Director of Financial Planning Analysis (FP A) with FP A activities for the Bank and consolidated holding company including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly quarterly financial analysis.
- Support the completion of annual capital stress testing and capital planning, Board of Directors reporting, business unit and lending profitability analysis, and ad-hoc reporting including external and internal benchmarking.
- Maximize utilization of Workday General Ledger and Planning tools in financial analysis and reporting processes.
- Have exposure to senior management and communicate effectively verbally and in writing with others.
- Perform duties in an office setting, with the possibility of remote work at management discretion, and be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Use hands and fingers to operate a computer monitor with visual acuity and operate office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Exhibit flexibility to perform situationally assigned duties outside of the standard job description to support organizational efficiency and nimbleness.
