Job Description
A People Operations Manager responsible for developing and managing HR policies, processes, and systems to ensure compliance, efficiency, and a positive workplace culture, while supporting employee lifecycle activities and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for employee HR and policy inquiries, handling them with discretion.
- Design, implement, and maintain HR processes and policies throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to facilitate seamless onboarding of new employees.
- Manage benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance in collaboration with Finance.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data, including creating dashboards and metrics for decision-making.
- Ensure company compliance with labor laws and HR best practices across multiple states.
- Identify process gaps, develop solutions, and standardize HR workflows.
- Drive initiatives related to performance management, employee engagement, compensation, and manager support.
- Support company culture initiatives and organize related events.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in People Operations.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Proven track record of building scalable people processes and policies.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to set, track, and present HR metrics that drive action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and policy-minded, with the ability to create clarity and structure.
- Comfortable working independently and owning projects end-to-end with minimal oversight.
- Solution-oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Trusted partner with excellent judgment, able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and positive relationships at all levels.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining HR processes and policies across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience in benefits administration, working closely with Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to maintain accurate employee records and HR data, including building dashboards and metrics for decision-making.
- Knowledge of staying ahead of labor law changes and HR best practices across multiple states.
