Job Description

A Technical Consultant specializing in system engineering for ArcGIS Enterprise, responsible for designing, deploying, migrating, and supporting enterprise GIS systems with advanced deployment strategies, troubleshooting, and architecture modernization to ensure system performance, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, migrate, and support enterprise-scale ArcGIS Enterprise systems
Implement advanced deployment strategies such as high availability, disaster recovery, and Kubernetes-based architectures
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform system challenge resolution
Conduct system recovery exercises and disaster recovery planning
Develop and execute proofs of concept for advanced ArcGIS Enterprise deployments
Upgrade and deploy ArcGIS Enterprise and related databases
Apply knowledge of complementary enterprise technologies including databases, storage systems, and networking protocols
Lead customers and colleagues using systematic system engineering methods for ArcGIS Enterprise and enterprise IT integration
Collaborate with professional services team to resolve technical challenges and support skill development

Requirements

Five years of professional experience implementing and supporting enterprise GIS systems.
Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise.
Familiarity with troubleshooting technical issues in server-based systems.
Demonstrated ability to consistently apply a systematic, best practice driven approach to system engineering.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to customers, executives, and technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related STEM field.

Compensation/salary range: estimated between 84,240 and 142,480 USD
