Job Description

This role involves leading a team to promote and sell Esri's geospatial technology solutions within the infrastructure industry, managing sales strategies, building customer relationships, and demonstrating expert knowledge of GIS and Esri products to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales activities of the team through all stages of the account management process.
  • Mentor and coach team members to achieve sales objectives and improve performance.
  • Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of ArcGIS and its value within the infrastructure industry.
  • Research industry trends and continuously develop professional knowledge of GIS and Esri technology.
  • Plan and execute negotiations with customers to close sales opportunities.
  • Drive the sales cycle to meet or exceed sector growth and revenue goals.

Requirements

  • 8 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • 3 years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team
  • Able to build compelling account growth strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of the infrastructure industry and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers
  • Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50%
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field

Base salary range of $114,400 to $197,600 USD
