Job Description
The role involves testing and maintaining the CityEngine 3D modeling software, engaging with users, creating content and learning resources, and collaborating with development teams to enhance procedural modeling features.
Key Responsibilities
- Test new features, maintain functionality, identify and report bugs, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues
- Engage with users through forums and meetings to support their needs and gather feedback
- Create sample CGA code snippets and generate content for testing, showcases, and release materials
- Study modeling patterns and real-world use cases to identify gaps and propose new high-level features
- Support innovation and R&D projects related to procedural modeling and CGA language
- Create learning resources to assist users in understanding and utilizing the tools
Requirements
- Industry experience in software quality assurance
- Self-reliant team player with a can-do attitude and proactive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good programming skills and understanding of software architecture
- Ability to become an expert CGA coder
- Good 3D modeling skills
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, architecture, or a related field
- Existing work authorization for Switzerland
