Job Description
This role involves building relationships with state and local government clients to promote and implement Esri's geospatial technology solutions, managing sales opportunities, and providing industry expertise to help organizations optimize their use of GIS for their missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations.
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders to tailor GIS solutions.
- Demonstrate the value of Esri technology through solution selling and visual storytelling.
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies.
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions.
Requirements
- Three years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and local government and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.

Base salary range of $93,600 to $176,800 USD
