Job Description
Equilibrium Energy is seeking motivated individuals to join their team in roles related to engineering, science, commercial trading, and product management, contributing to the development of innovative AI-driven solutions for the clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve AI operating systems for the power sector
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate scientific and technical components
- Design, build, and maintain scalable software, data, or ML infrastructure
- Contribute to research and development of innovative solutions for energy industry challenges
- Support deployment and optimization of AI and data-driven tools in real-world energy applications
Requirements
- Must be highly motivated and mission-driven individuals willing to join the Equilibrium Team.
- Must be able to share a resume, contact information, and a brief cover letter explaining what you are looking for in your next role.
- Must have experience or skills relevant to the high-priority profiles listed, including Engineering (Software Engineer, Data Engineer, DevOps Engineer, ML Engineer), Science (Data Scientist, Research Scientist, ML Scientist, Quantitative Analyst), Commercial (Energy Trader, Portfolio Manager, Energy Trading Analyst), or Product (Product Manager, Product Operations Manager, Technical Product Manager).
- Must have deep industry expertise in energy-specific commercial structuring, power systems engineering, machine learning, computational research, operations research, distributed and compute-intensive infrastructure, and modern software ML engineering.
- Must have experience in designing technical components of energy platforms, with a focus on improving and combining them to achieve global scale and climate impact.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative, respectful, and honest communication environment, with a balanced, flexible, and remote-first work environment.
- Must be able to participate in professional growth and development opportunities through collaboration and mentorship from industry experts.
