Job Description
The Sales Executive will sell and promote EnergyHub's DERMS software and services to utility companies, building strong client relationships, developing sales pipelines, and identifying new business opportunities in the clean energy and utility markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell DERMS software and services to utility clients
- Develop trusting relationships with utility prospects and clients
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, tracking progress and advancing opportunities
- Provide business cases to demonstrate the value of EnergyHub's offerings
- Develop proposals, including narratives and pricing, for utility RFPs
- Collaborate with utilities to understand market needs and identify new business opportunities
- Work with sales, product, and marketing teams to align offerings and messaging
- Represent EnergyHub at industry conferences, trade shows, and events
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a client-facing role in the utility or climate tech industry
- Demonstrated track record managing high-revenue business opportunities
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Strong desire to learn about the DERMS market and ability to work up the learning curve quickly
- Flexibility for a significant amount of travel, specifically 20-40%
