Job Description
A senior software engineering role focused on developing and maintaining the technical infrastructure for microservices at EnergyHub, driving automation, system resilience, and scalable solutions to support the company's energy management platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the technical infrastructure supporting all microservices.
- Standardize patterns and practices to accelerate microservice development lifecycle.
- Prepare legacy applications for transition to microservices architecture.
- Unify development, deployment, and testing processes for microservices.
- Manage processes, technical designs, and education related to Ground Control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive high-impact projects.
- Develop solutions that ensure platform flexibility and scalability within real-world constraints.
- Contribute to best practices for CI/CD, data modeling, and rapid prototyping.
- Mentor and support engineering team members to foster a strong technical culture.
Requirements
- 7 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with prior staff-level responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Java, preferably Java 11, and experience with at least one scripting language such as Python3.
- Ability to work across team boundaries to identify and solve pain points that affect engineering velocity, system resilience, and system service performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of balancing multiple use cases while enabling flexibility.

Compensation/salary range: $170,000 - $190,000 USD
