Job Description
A Senior Full Stack Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend and web applications using Java and React, with a focus on energy market participation and grid stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure backend services using Java Spring Boot.
- Create and update dynamic front-end applications with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software development.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects and develop creative solutions within real-world constraints.
- Ensure adherence to CI/CD, unit and integration testing, and maintain high code quality.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform development practices.
Requirements
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with prior senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework.
- Strong experience in Java, preferably Java 11.
- Experience with at least one scripting language such as Python3.
- Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation/salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 USD
