Job Description

The Senior Sales Engineer at EnergyHub is responsible for demonstrating and designing technical solutions involving distributed energy resources to utility clients, acting as a liaison between sales, product, and technical teams to drive growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convey EnergyHub's platform, services, and program offerings to clients and prospects
  • Conduct client discovery, provide software demos, and engage with decision-makers to support sales processes
  • Become a technical authority on EnergyHub's software platform and offerings
  • Assess customer requirements and design solutions that deliver ROI in collaboration with the Product team
  • Facilitate customer feedback to inform product roadmaps
  • Serve as the technical expert during the sales process from discovery to contract negotiation
  • Support the RFP process by providing relevant content
  • Coordinate post-close handoff to Implementation and Client Success teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical, enterprise software sales, product management, or related fields.
  • Experience with requirements management tools and processes.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • Experience with platform integrations, APIs, and data transfers preferred.
  • Ability to travel for client visits, prospect demos, industry conferences, etc.

Benefits & Perks

Compensation/salary range: $115,000 - $135,000 USD
