Job Description
The Senior Sales Engineer at EnergyHub is responsible for demonstrating and designing technical solutions involving distributed energy resources to utility clients, acting as a liaison between sales, product, and technical teams to drive growth and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Convey EnergyHub's platform, services, and program offerings to clients and prospects
- Conduct client discovery, provide software demos, and engage with decision-makers to support sales processes
- Become a technical authority on EnergyHub's software platform and offerings
- Assess customer requirements and design solutions that deliver ROI in collaboration with the Product team
- Facilitate customer feedback to inform product roadmaps
- Serve as the technical expert during the sales process from discovery to contract negotiation
- Support the RFP process by providing relevant content
- Coordinate post-close handoff to Implementation and Client Success teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience in technical, enterprise software sales, product management, or related fields.
- Experience with requirements management tools and processes.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Experience with platform integrations, APIs, and data transfers preferred.
- Ability to travel for client visits, prospect demos, industry conferences, etc.

Compensation/salary range: $115,000 - $135,000 USD
