Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager at EnergyHub is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote energy solutions for utilities, creating compelling messaging and collateral, and collaborating across teams to drive market adoption of distributed energy resources and support the company's growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on customer challenges related to distributed energy resource adoption and solutions.
  • Disseminate and evangelize customer insights across the company.
  • Create compelling messaging and solution narratives aligned with company positioning for utility markets.
  • Support sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams with training on solutions and buyer problems.
  • Develop marketing collateral such as sales enablement materials, product sheets, presentations, website content, and case studies.
  • Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches and features, including sales enablement and promotional activities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends, positioning strategies, and differentiation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand audience challenges and refine messaging and positioning.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and provide insights for improvement.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology, energy, or utilities industry
  • Bachelor's degree education or equivalent with a demonstrated understanding of product marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
  • Ability to develop impactful marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging using simple, everyday language
  • Demonstrated experience in creating sales enablement materials, presentations, and website content
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams such as product management, sales, client success, and engineering
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and initiate new projects independently
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis to identify market trends, positioning strategies, and opportunities for differentiation
  • Ability to measure and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, track key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
