Job Description
A Workday Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations, reports, and system enhancements within the Workday HCM, Financials, and PSA platforms to improve organizational efficiency and support HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday solutions within HCM, Financials, and PSA modules.
- Create system enhancements, integrations, reports, and dashboards to improve organizational efficiency.
- Support end users with Workday functionality, access, and reporting needs.
- Configure and support integrations across HRIS, payroll, benefits, and financial systems using Workday tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday technical issues and system errors.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement process improvements.
- Monitor system performance and ensure successful operation of integrations.
- Perform system updates, upgrades, and ensure compatibility with new features.
- Develop dashboards and analytics to support leadership decision-making.
- Ensure system design and data handling comply with organizational policies, regulations, and audit standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workday Developer.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Report Writer.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Financials, and PSA modules.
- Proficiency in web services SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, and database querying SQL.
- Ability to design, configure, and support integrations across HRIS, payroll, benefits, and financial systems using Workday Studio, EIB, and web services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Workday technical issues and system errors.
- Support end users with Workday functionality, access, and reporting needs.
- Develop, test, and deploy Workday reports and calculated fields.
- Design and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Strong ability to interpret business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure data accuracy.
- Focus on continuous improvement of system processes and workflows to maximize business efficiency.
- Monitor Workday system performance and ensure integrations run successfully.
- Ensure system design and data handling comply with organizational policies, legal regulations, and audit standards.
- Perform Workday system updates and ensure compatibility with new features releases.
- Develop dashboards and analytics to support leadership decision-making.
- Partner with stakeholders to evaluate and improve system workflows and user experience.
- Support system audits to ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance requirements.
- Test and implement Workday-delivered upgrades and feature releases.
- Provide training and documentation to business users on new functionalities.
- Candidates must be willing to work onsite at one of the specified office locations at a minimum of 1 day per week, currently Wednesdays, with flexibility for additional days.
- Candidates residing in Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wyoming are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely and pass a background check and drug screening.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $100,000 to $115,000 annually, with a target of $109,250 based on experience and qualifications
Hybrid work schedule with at least 1 day onsite per week (currently Wednesdays) with flexibility for other days
