Job Description

The Senior HRIS Business Analyst at Energy Solutions is responsible for supporting and optimizing Workday HCM modules, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and efficient HR service delivery, while partnering with various stakeholders to improve HR processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday modules including Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management
  • Manage HRIS service delivery by handling HRIS cases, employee issues, and escalations to ensure timely resolution and positive employee experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues within Workday related to PTO, absence plans, and time off discrepancies
  • Support onboarding processes and system configuration updates, including I-9 relaunch activities
  • Ensure HR data, system configurations, and processes comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements, supporting audits and investigations
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics in Workday to support workforce data analysis and reporting needs
  • Maintain and troubleshoot inbound and outbound system integrations and data loads using tools like EIB, Cloud Connectors, and Workday Studio
  • Support security administration activities including access management, security group updates, and user notifications
  • Act as a consultative partner to stakeholders, communicating system impacts, process changes, and data insights
  • Design and implement operational improvements to enhance HRIS workflows and ensure process standardization and compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of HRIS experience, with hands-on expertise in Workday HCM.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple Workday modules including HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence.
  • Working knowledge of HR compliance requirements, payroll controls, and audit support.
  • Ability to manage complex issues independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting, troubleshooting, and supporting production operations in Workday.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate validation under deadlines, including payroll calendar deadlines.
  • Certified in Workday HCM and Payroll (preferred).
  • Supporting payroll operations and payroll benefits reconciliation (preferred).

Salary range: 107,363 - 134,127 USD, with a target of 107,363 - 119,621 USD based on experience and qualifications
