Job Description
A Project Manager role focused on overseeing energy efficiency projects, managing stakeholder collaborations, and supporting the development and implementation of market-based energy and water savings solutions for utility, government, and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, quality, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Facilitate the progress and completion of multiple projects
- Communicate project status and updates to management and clients
- Interact with customers, clients, and external stakeholders
- Conduct market research, data analysis, and monitor industry trends
- Organize and facilitate virtual meetings and outreach activities
- Manage subcontractors and oversee invoicing processes
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree preferably in an energy-related or policy-related discipline, including environmental science, electrical or mechanical engineering, public policy or economics degrees.
- A minimum of two years of work-related experience in project management, stakeholder facilitation, or related fields.
- Technical experience in the field of HVAC, water heating, envelope, industrial processes, electric vehicles, demand response, distributed generation, lighting, water efficiency, and related technology solutions is preferred.
- Experience with energy codes and appliance standards and/or specification development is preferred.
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with task management software such as Monday.com.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work and thrive independently.
- Willingness to conduct occasional business travel.
- Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, processes, and tasks with minimal oversight.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and bringing them to conclusion.
- Ability to proactively communicate project progress to management and clients.
- Experience in interacting with customers, clients, and external collaborators.
- Experience in conducting market research and data analysis.
- Experience in organizing and facilitating virtual meetings and conference calls.
- Experience in conducting outreach to industry stakeholders.
- Experience in subcontractor management, including invoicing.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis.

Salary range of $69,000 to $79,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
