Job Description
The Solar Programs Associate supports distributed energy and community solar programs by assisting companies with program registration, renewal processes, and inquiries, contributing to the adoption of solar energy and the transition to a decarbonized grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of program guidelines and procedures
- Respond to program inquiries via phone and email professionally and courteously
- Assist distributed generation and community solar companies with program registration and renewal applications
- Document, review, and follow up on registration and renewal applications
- Use knowledge sources to answer questions and resolve issues
- Escalate unresolved inquiries to appropriate parties and track follow-up
- Participate in video conference calls and present to clients
- Contribute to or manage ad hoc projects
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience.
- Competency with technical topics.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to function as a team player and multi-task between various projects to help meet and exceed program goals.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, with a target of $66,500 based on experience and qualifications
Hybrid work environment with in-office presence at least once a week in Chicago, IL
