A technical planning role supporting project programming, space utilization, and design development under the guidance of senior architects, with a focus on creating sustainable and functional architectural solutions for healthcare or similar facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with project team to support programming and planning for projects
Implement planning concepts at a project level
Participate in user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization
Support translation of planning concepts into understandable terms for clients and team members
Contribute to development, modification, and review of planning concepts and solutions
Assist in creating architectural drawings and specifications to translate planning into construction documents
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects
Serve as a point of contact for clients on planning issues
Support development of project technical and design characteristics
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree required.
Minimum 4 years of related professional experience required.
Must have basic knowledge of Health planning guides and codes.
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required.
Must be able to participate in the development of projects' technical or design characteristics and content.
Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
Actively pursuing Architectural Registration in the United States preferred.
LEED accreditation preferred.
