Job Description
The Energy Efficiency Project Manager specializing in Building Electrification is responsible for managing and implementing projects related to residential building electrification, including data analysis, stakeholder communication, and process improvements, to support California's energy and climate goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project deliverables, budgets, and tasks with minimal oversight
- Facilitate the progress and completion of multiple project tasks
- Communicate project progress to management and clients
- Interact with customers, program participants, subcontractors, and external collaborators
- Conduct data analysis, market research, and literature searches
- Track industry trends and market changes impacting energy efficiency
- Organize and facilitate conference calls and collaboration sessions
- Contribute to new program design development and process improvements
- Audit project data to identify patterns and irregularities
- Investigate and escalate customer support cases for resolution
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree with a preference towards engineering, data science, environmental science, or business.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
- Familiarity with energy efficient HVAC, water heating, and/or related technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with clients and present in the primary role.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work and thrive independently.
- Outstanding quality control practices.
- Ability to manage project budgets and tasks with minimal oversight.
- Experience managing the overall direction, management, quality control, and completion of project deliverables.
- Experience facilitating the progress of multiple tasks and bringing them to conclusion.
- Experience communicating project progress to management and clients.
- Experience interacting with customers, program participants, sub-contractors, clients, and external collaborators.
- Experience conducting data analysis, market research, and literature searches.
- Experience tracking industry trends and other market changes that impact energy efficiency.
- Experience organizing and facilitating conference calls and collaboration sessions.
- Experience contributing to new program design development and process refinement.
- Experience auditing project data to find patterns, irregularities, and other trends for deeper investigation.
- Experience investigating and escalating customer support cases to proactively resolve issues with management.
- Flexibility and adaptability regarding project focus.
- The ability to pass a basic Excel test during the interview process.

Salary range of $69,000 to $79,000 annually, with a target compensation of $79,000 based on experience and qualifications
