Job Description
The Web Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance and development of DroneDeploy's website, focusing on driving traffic, optimizing user journeys, and coordinating cross-functional teams to implement web initiatives and technical enhancements that support marketing and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage DroneDeploy.com, including daily performance, roadmap, and prioritization of web initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and agencies to manage web requests, testing, and launching new features or updates.
- Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs and technical enhancements such as SEO, platform transitions, and chatbot management.
- Align cross-functional teams (Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Content, Marketing Ops, RevOps, DevOps) around measurable web traffic and conversion goals.
- Translate GTM priorities into web systems and daily execution, ensuring seamless integration with tools like Marketo and Salesforce.
- Debug and troubleshoot web issues using tools like Gemini and ChatGPT to unblock progress.
Requirements
- Experience in managing and optimizing web channels end-to-end, including managing the intake and prioritization of web requests, coordinating with agencies and internal teams, and making real-time decisions about what gets built, tested, and launched.
- Ability to guide cross-functional partners from Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Content, Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, and DevOps, and align them around measurable outcomes for traffic growth, inbound conversion, and high-intent user journeys.
- Strong understanding of how changes on the website flow downstream into tools like Marketo, Salesforce, and GTM processes.
- Proven experience leading conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs.
- Experience with AI-enabled SEO, AEO, GEO, platform transitions, and technical enhancements such as chatbot lifecycle management and modular CMS design.
- Comfortable debugging issues in tools like Gemini and ChatGPT to unblock progress.
- Ability to translate GTM priorities into web systems and daily execution in high-ownership, cross-functional environments.
- Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence (EQ) to bring stakeholders along and manage people effectively.
- Experience working remotely within the US and availability within core hours of 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, based on local time zone.
- Willingness to travel domestically about 10% for team on-sites and company events.
