Job Description
The Lead QA Engineer at DroneDeploy is responsible for developing and implementing quality practices across multiple engineering teams to ensure the reliability and high quality of digital twin solutions used in industries such as construction, energy, and agriculture. The role involves identifying systemic quality patterns, defining key metrics, and partnering with engineering to modernize quality processes to support platform scalability and customer trust.

- Elevate the QA function from reactive testing to proactive quality enablement
Requirements
- Experience driving the evolution of quality practices across multiple engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-impact digital twin solutions for industries such as construction, energy, and agriculture.
- Ability to embed with engineering teams, starting with Ground Mobile, to identify systemic quality patterns, define and own key metrics, and partner with engineering to modernize the approach to quality.
- Proven track record of influencing the effectiveness and velocity of engineering teams to ensure platform reliability and customer trust as the organization scales.
- Experience in elevating the QA function from reactive testing to proactive quality enablement through organization-wide challenges.
- Strong strategic skills to serve as a quality architect for a cross-team environment.
- Responsibility for protecting company and customer data by following information security policies and procedures.
