Job Description
The Web Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance and development of DroneDeploy's website, focusing on driving traffic, optimizing user journeys, and coordinating cross-functional teams to implement web initiatives and technical enhancements that support marketing and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the performance, roadmap, and prioritization of all web initiatives on DroneDeploy.com.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to manage web requests and execute web projects.
- Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs and technical enhancements such as SEO, platform transitions, and chatbot lifecycle management.
- Align cross-functional teams including Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Content, Marketing Ops, RevOps, and DevOps around measurable web traffic and conversion goals.
- Translate GTM priorities into web systems and daily execution, ensuring seamless integration with tools like Marketo and Salesforce.
Requirements
- Experience managing the daily performance, roadmap, and prioritization of all web initiatives on a website, with a focus on inbound, high-velocity visitors and self-serve style journeys.
- Ability to understand how changes on the website flow downstream into tools like Marketo, Salesforce, and GTM processes.
- Experience managing the web channel end-to-end, including intake and prioritization of web requests, coordinating with agencies and internal teams, and making real-time decisions about what gets built, tested, and launched.
- Proven ability to guide cross-functional partners from Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Content, Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, and DevOps, aligning them around measurable outcomes for traffic growth, inbound conversion, and high-intent user journeys.
- Experience leading conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs, including AI-enabled SEO, AEO, GEO, platform transitions, and technical enhancements such as chatbot lifecycle management and modular CMS design.
- Comfortable debugging issues in tools like Gemini and ChatGPT to unblock progress.
- Ability to work remotely within the US, with availability within core hours of 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, based on local time zone.
- Willingness to travel domestically approximately 10% for team on-site meetings and company events.
