Job Description
The Senior Facilities Engineer supports the operations and maintenance of Diamond Foundry's manufacturing facilities, assisting with real-time issue resolution, safety monitoring, future planning, equipment installation, and coordination with contractors to ensure smooth facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Facility Manager in supporting operations across multiple locations.
- Monitor and address real-time issues related to facility operations.
- Oversee health and safety compliance within the facility.
- Support future planning and execution of facilities build-outs.
- Coordinate installation of tools and equipment with trade contractors and internal teams.
Requirements
- Assist the Facility Manager by being his eyes and ears in his absence, addressing issues in real-time, monitoring health and safety, helping with future facilities planning and build-outs, installation of tools and equipment, and coordination with outside trade contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Support the operations of four locations in the SF Bay Area as part of the team in Fremont, CA.
- Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls.
- Lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Operate in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, including participation in E-Verify and providing Form I-9 information to confirm authorization to work in the U.S.
- Possess physical capability to perform tasks associated with manufacturing and engineering operations, including physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, grasping, reaching, lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
