A Facilities Electrical Engineer responsible for managing and optimizing the electrical infrastructure and utility systems of a high-tech diamond manufacturing facility, ensuring reliable power supply and system efficiency for sensitive production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the electrical infrastructure and critical utility systems of the manufacturing facility.
Oversee the full lifecycle of power architecture, including 132kV substations, BESS, PV integration, and low-voltage networks.
Serve as a technical lead to coordinate among facilities, process engineering, and external contractors for electrical system installations.
Ensure uninterrupted power quality to support high-tech manufacturing operations.
Optimize electrical system efficiency and ensure compliance with semiconductor industry standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing electrical infrastructure and critical utility systems in a high-tech manufacturing environment
Experience managing the full lifecycle of power architecture including 132kV Substations, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Photovoltaic (PV) integration
Proven ability to serve as a technical lead bridging facilities, process engineering, and external contractors to ensure uninterrupted power quality
Experience in driving complex electrical systems installations and optimizing system efficiency
Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards related to electrical systems and safety protocols
Ability to manage and support low-voltage networks supporting ultra-high-purity (UHP) gas and process-cooling systems
Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, including substations and high-voltage infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to ensure high power quality and reliability in a high-stakes manufacturing environment
