A Senior Metrology Engineer responsible for developing and implementing measurement systems, including computer vision and 3D measurement capabilities, to ensure quality and defect detection in the production of single-crystal diamond wafers for advanced tech industries.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement measurement systems for physical dimensions and defect detection
Develop and maintain computer vision models for tracking sample defects
Create 3D measurement capabilities for samples of various sizes and shapes
Design hardware for measurement and inspection purposes
Collect data and develop post-processing scripts for analysis
Train and evaluate deep learning models related to metrology tasks
Analyze measurement data to ensure accuracy and quality
Requirements
Develop and implement measurement systems combining physical dimensions determination and defect detection.
Develop and maintain computer vision models for tracking sample defects at various stages of the process.
Develop 3D measurement capabilities for samples of various sizes and shapes.
Involve hardware design, data collection, deep learning model training and evaluation, development of post-processing scripts, and data analysis as part of the role.
Be based in Zaragoza and work as an integral part of an experienced team of mechanical, electrical, and materials engineers, interfacing between R D, process, and production operations.
Possess the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment involving hardware and software development.
