The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of complex production equipment in a cutting-edge diamond manufacturing facility, requiring mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, including complex systems
Ensure equipment operates reliably and optimally
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and preventive maintenance
Follow safety policies and use appropriate PPE during tasks
Requirements
Proven experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex production systems, with a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
Physical ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
Capability to perform tasks that may require the use of ladders or stairs.
Ability to drive or operate foot controls as needed for tasks.
Physical strength to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience or background relevant to Navy Machinist’s Mates or Electrician’s Mates is highly encouraged.
Legal authorization to work in the United States, confirmed through E-Verify and completion of Form I-9.
