Job Description

A Software Engineer at Deep Sky will design, develop, and maintain software infrastructure to support climate tech solutions, including data pipelines, sensor integration, and control systems for direct air capture technology.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain the software infrastructure supporting climate tech solutions
Set up backend data pipelines and tools for data analysis
Create and maintain software to integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems within prototype test infrastructure
Develop and support hardware-in-the-loop digital twin systems

Requirements

Experience in architecting, building, and maintaining software infrastructure that supports climate tech solutions.
Proficiency in setting up backend data pipelines and developing tools for data analysis.
Ability to create and maintain software to integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems within prototype test infrastructure.
Experience working with hardware-in-the-loop digital twin systems.
Passion for building robust systems and solving complex engineering challenges.
Hands-on experience working directly with hardware components.
Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and to learn from failures.
