Job Description
A hands-on Plant Operator responsible for safely operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting equipment at a Direct Air Capture facility focused on carbon removal, supporting startup and ongoing operations in a rotating shift environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate plant equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor and troubleshoot plant systems and processes
- Support startup and ongoing operation of the Direct Air Capture facility
- Assist with capture regeneration processes
- Maintain safety protocols and use PPE in an industrial environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Support the startup and ongoing operation of the Direct Air Capture facility in Innisfail, Alberta.
- Safely operate, monitor, and troubleshoot plant equipment and capture regeneration processes in an industrial plant environment.
- Be available to work a full-time, 7-on 7-off rotating day and night shift schedule.
- Operate in an environment that requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report directly to the Head of Operations.
