Job Description
An entry-level architectural design role focused on supporting project teams through technical tasks such as creating digital and physical models, producing documentation and graphics, conducting research, and assisting with site visits under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design process using software tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and SketchUp
- Build physical models of architectural designs
- Produce architectural documentation under supervision
- Create graphics and images for client presentations
- Conduct product research and assist with building code research
- Review shop drawings and submittals under supervision
- Participate in project team meetings
- Visit job sites to verify conditions and observe construction progress
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field required by hire date
- Strong creative design portfolio
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to handle multiple projects and possess strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills
- Participation in the design process under direct supervision of a Project Architect or Project Designer, including utilizing software platforms such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-up
- Assist in producing architectural documentation under supervisory direction
- Assist in producing graphics materials and images for client presentations under supervisory direction
- Assist in product research under direct supervision of Project Architect or Project Manager
- Assist with research of building code information as directed by Project Architect
- Participate in the review of shop drawings and submittals under supervisory direction
- Attend in-house project team meetings
- May visit job site to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress, including physical site walk-throughs
- Must have a strong creative design portfolio
- Proficiency with Revit and Enscape preferred
