Job Description
An Electrical Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, prototyping, and integrating electrical and electromechanical systems for direct air carbon capture reactors and related test infrastructure, working hands-on with hardware in a mission-driven environment focused on combating climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical and electromechanical systems for Direct Air Carbon Capture reactors and test infrastructure
- Analyze and prototype electrical systems to ensure functionality and robustness
- Integrate electrical systems with hardware-in-the-loop digital twin systems
- Work hands-on with hardware to troubleshoot and optimize electrical components
Requirements
- Design, analyze, prototype, and integrate electrical and electromechanical systems for Direct Air Carbon Capture reactors and the supporting test infrastructure including hardware-in-the-loop digital twin systems.
- Work onsite in Los Angeles, CA as part of Deep Sky's R D Engineering Team.
- Possess a passion for building robust systems and solving complex engineering challenges.
- Work hands-on with hardware and be willing to work through failures during development and testing.
