Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst supports corporate finance and FP&A functions by conducting financial analysis, preparing forecasts, and collaborating with management to optimize processes within the solar industry, offering exposure to project financing and development in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support corporate finance and FP&A efforts through cash planning, financial analysis, and process automation
- Prepare monthly cash and GAAP forecasts and communicate findings to management
- Conduct variance analysis and develop reports using FP&A systems such as Netsuite, NSPB, SiteTracker, and Sigma
- Support investor reporting and communications
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling for new initiatives and projects
- Collaborate with cross-department teams to gather inputs and consolidate data for presentations and process flows
Requirements
- Candidates must demonstrate 3-5 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, economics, or business.
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's or equivalent undergraduate degree with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
- Candidates must have strong analytical skills, specifically with finance, accounting, and math.
- Candidates must have proficiency with financial analysis, quantitative, and modeling skills.
- Candidates must have high proficiency with Excel, with the ability to produce and audit models independently, particularly with large sets of data.
- Candidates must have high attention to detail.
- Candidates must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Candidates must be able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must be highly motivated and show exceptional career progress to date.
- Candidates must be able to prepare monthly cash and GAAP forecasts and communicate with leaders through deck presentations.
- Candidates must be able to prepare variance analysis commentary and work in FP&A systems Netsuite, NSPB, SiteTracker, and Sigma to build new reports.
- Candidates must support investor reporting and communications.
- Candidates must be able to prepare ad-hoc financial analysis or modeling for new initiatives or projects.
