The Tax Analyst will coordinate property tax returns, conduct tax research and planning, and support various tax-related processes within a collaborative team environment, primarily focusing on property tax management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate property tax returns and gather necessary data such as fixed assets, inventory, CIP, and PDR information.
Retrieve and review notices of value and property tax bills, and maintain related documentation.
Ensure timely submission of tax payments and correspondence with tax authorities.
Calculate landowner reimbursements and prepare related payments.
Prepare and mail tax returns, Letters of Authorization, and agency requests.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a similar academic degree
Coursework in property valuation
Minimum of 2 years of tax experience in property tax, including accounting, corporate, or government
Effectively handle and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build collaborative working relationships across the organization
Proficient in Excel
