Job Description
The Associate, Real Estate at Arevon supports land acquisition, manages real estate documents, reviews title reports, and assists with project development efforts for utility-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance and process improvements within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in land acquisition and greenfield efforts by reviewing legal documents and populating legal instruments
- Coordinate with development teams and external stakeholders for title orders and intake
- Manage real estate document retention systems and ensure compliance with company policies
- Support migration to a land management system and abstract real estate instruments for internal use
- Manage execution and recording of real estate instruments and related processes
- Review title reports and real estate documents to prepare risk assessments
- Develop and implement process improvements related to real estate management
- Support project curative efforts related to land and title issues
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience with a law firm, title company, or developer.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and confidence across the company.
- Ability to work as an integrated part of a team in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and the desire for continuous process improvement.
- A bachelor’s degree (BA or BS), or comparable education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in real estate development, legal instruments, deeds, corporate documents, and legal descriptions, including reviewing and populating legal instruments and performing detailed review of title reports and underlying real estate documents.
- Experience in managing physical and digital systems for real estate document retention and supporting migration to a land management system.
- Ability to abstract real estate instruments for internal land management systems.
- Experience in managing the execution and recording of real estate instruments and related processes.
- Ability to develop and implement process improvements in line with company objectives.
- Experience supporting project curative efforts.
