Job Description
The Manager, Asset Management oversees the financial, commercial, and operational performance of renewable energy projects across the U.S., ensuring asset optimization, compliance, and stakeholder engagement to maximize value throughout the projects' lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform due diligence on new project investments and support project evaluations, contract reviews, and recommendations for acquisitions, divestitures, and investments.
- Manage financial performance of assets through P&L analysis, financial modeling, budget tracking, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with project agreements, manage contractual issues, and oversee operations and maintenance provider adherence.
- Monitor and report on asset performance, including addressing outages, analyzing variances, and optimizing revenue.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, including managing relationships with customers, partners, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.
Requirements
- Five years of energy industry experience in asset management, project administration, business administration, project management, contract administration, project finance, or other commercial role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong business and financial savvy with the ability to support a high-performance organization that will deliver operational excellence and meet or exceed financial targets.
- A strong grasp of technical Wind and Solar project details and the ability to effectively collaborate with operational and technical teams.
- Ability to perform well under pressure on teams in a demanding environment and occasionally work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to think creatively, manage competing priorities, work independently, and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to meet and communicate effectively with various Customers, off-takers, and Investors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise manner.
- Understanding of renewable financial models and the full capital stack including tax equity, debt, and cash equity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience manipulating and managing large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
- Prior experience with the use of formulas in Excel (e.g., vlookup, sumproduct, sumif, index match) and creating reports from scratch.

Salary range of 120,000 to 160,000 USD
