The Solar Wind Operations Engineering Intern will analyze solar module performance and degradation across various facilities, supporting renewable energy projects and gaining hands-on experience in optimizing power plant performance within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate solar module performance and degradation across multiple facilities and climates
Analyze data related to photovoltaic technologies and their operation
Present project results to team and leadership at the end of the internship
Requirements
First-year students in a degree program in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on renewable energy technologies
Experience in PV technologies and the theory of operation
Proficiency in data analysis and critical thinking
Strong user of MS Excel and other analytical tools
Interest in renewable energy and creating a clean energy future
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to ask questions, listen to colleagues, and contribute ideas
Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable, demonstrating the ability to show up, be present, and eager to dive into the workday
Ability to work independently and take ownership over projects and assignments
Comfortable taking initiative, asking questions, and speaking up
