Job Description
The Solar Wind Operations Engineering Intern will analyze solar module performance and degradation across various facilities, supporting renewable energy projects and gaining hands-on experience in optimizing power plant performance within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate solar module performance and degradation across multiple facilities and climates
- Analyze data related to photovoltaic technologies and their operation
- Present project results to team and leadership at the end of the internship
Requirements
- First-year students in a degree program in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on renewable energy technologies
- Experience in PV technologies and the theory of operation
- Proficiency in data analysis and critical thinking
- Strong user of MS Excel and other analytical tools
- Interest in renewable energy and creating a clean energy future
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to ask questions, listen to colleagues, and contribute ideas
- Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable, demonstrating the ability to show up, be present, and eager to dive into the workday
- Ability to work independently and take ownership over projects and assignments
- Comfortable taking initiative, asking questions, and speaking up
