The Regional Manager oversees the operational performance, safety, and reliability of wind energy assets, providing strategic leadership to optimize asset efficiency, ensure compliance, and foster a high-performance safety culture across dispersed locations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the operational performance, safety, and reliability of wind assets
Establish and implement standardized operating procedures and risk management frameworks
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset efficiency, output, and profitability
Oversee and optimize Health, Safety, Environmental, and Maintenance Management Systems
Manage and negotiate operational contracts and vendor relationships
Represent the company on joint venture and operating committees
Provide leadership, coaching, and development to internal teams and contractors
Design and evolve the operations organization to support growth and scalability
Collaborate with HR and leadership to attract, develop, and retain talent
Develop and execute long-term strategies for self-performance of the wind fleet
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations leadership within the utility or energy industry.
Demonstrated experience managing geographically dispersed assets, including operations, maintenance, performance optimization, and outage management.
Experience in wind, solar, geothermal, gas generation, or related energy technologies.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to translate technical expertise into actionable business outcomes.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.

Salary range of $140,000 to $175,000 USD depending on location, skills, experience, and certifications
