The Senior Technoeconomic Analyst will develop and manage detailed models to evaluate strategic pathways, costs, and efficiencies related to carbon removal processes, supporting long-term engineering, financial, and strategic decision-making across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own technoeconomic models to evaluate strategic pathways and inform capital allocation decisions.
Conduct life-cycle analysis and first-principles modeling to assess process and product carbon efficiency.
Identify opportunities for system improvements through detailed modeling and analysis.
Support long-term cost curve development for carbon removal technologies.
Collaborate with engineering, research, and carbon accounting teams to validate engineering roadmaps and estimate future costs.
Requirements
Own technoeconomic modeling used to evaluate major strategic pathways and inform capital allocation decisions across the business.
Play a critical, cross-functional role in evaluating and shaping engineering, financial, and strategic roadmaps.
Develop detailed models, including owning the Charm Duo’s life-cycle analysis and conducting first-principles modeling.
Leverage insights from modeling to identify opportunities to drive meaningful system improvements.
Support long-term cost curve development related to carbon removal processes.
Report directly into the Corporate Finance Strategy Manager and collaborate with Engineering, Research, and Carbon Accounting teams.
Possess a strong understanding of technoeconomic analysis, lifecycle analysis, and first-principles modeling techniques.
Demonstrate experience in evaluating engineering and financial data to inform strategic decisions.
Have the ability to develop and utilize detailed financial and engineering models for long-term planning.
Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
