A hands-on Inventory Specialist responsible for managing hardware parts and assemblies to support the development, testing, and deployment of pyrolysis and injection systems, ensuring smooth engineering operations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage incoming hardware by receiving and unpacking shipments
Kitting assemblies using bills of material (BOMs) and engineering drawings
Coordinate with design engineering, procurement, and technician teams to ensure parts are available for development activities
Support engineering development cycles and design-build-test projects
Assist in testing and commissioning new equipment
Identify and troubleshoot system performance issues through root cause analysis
Maintain organization and improve inventory management processes
Requirements
Experience in inventory management, specifically in receiving and unpacking incoming hardware, and kitting assemblies using bills of material (BOMs) and engineering drawings.
Ability to support fast-moving engineering development cycles and robust design-build-test iteration projects.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
Willingness to get hands dirty and perform physical tasks related to hardware handling and assembly.
Ability to deliver robust mechanical solutions that work in real-world environments.
Analytical problem-solving skills and experience in root cause analysis when systems are not performing as intended.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
Experience or ability to bring new designs to life and assist in testing and commissioning new equipment.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate between design engineering, procurement, and engineering technician teams.
Physical ability to perform tasks related to hardware receiving, unpacking, and assembly (implying physical dexterity and stamina).
Willingness to work in Fort Lupton, Colorado, as the role reports to the Engineering Technical Program Manager based there.
