Job Description
The Lead IT Systems Engineer will design, implement, and manage the company's internal IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across multiple sites to support operational efficiency and data-driven growth in a climate-focused startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy a unified IT software systems organization across multiple sites.
- Ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and data systems.
- Oversee the integration of internal systems, networks, and tools.
- Scale and optimize core internal IT systems for operational excellence and data-driven growth.
- Deploy systems at new sites and ensure harmonious integration of scaled systems.
- Develop and implement data warehousing strategies to ensure reliability, security, and quick access.
Requirements
- Proven experience in architecting and deploying IT software systems, with a focus on integrating hardware, software, and data systems across multiple sites.
- Experience in bridging traditional IT functions with modern systems engineering to ensure seamless system integration.
- Ability to oversee the integration of internal systems, networks, and tools within an organization.
- Experience in deploying and scaling IT systems at new sites, ensuring harmonious integration of scaled systems.
- Knowledge of data warehousing strategies, including ensuring reliability, security, and quick access for troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee internal IT systems for operational excellence and data-driven growth.
- Experience in ensuring the security and reliability of IT infrastructure and data systems.
- Ability to work hands-on with hardware, software, and data systems to perform quick fixes and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of modern systems engineering principles and traditional IT functions.
- Excellent communication skills to report to senior management, specifically the CFO.
- Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in information technology, systems engineering, or related fields.
