Job Description
The Accounting Manager will oversee and improve the company's daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support the integration of accounting systems to facilitate the company's growth in carbon removal efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and refine day-to-day accounting functions
- Oversee month-end close processes
- Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls across multiple facilities
- Integrate accounting data into ERP and carbon accounting systems
- Support scaling of the company's accounting infrastructure to accommodate growth
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading and refining day-to-day accounting functions, including overseeing month-end close processes.
- Experience in strengthening internal controls across multiple facilities.
- Ability to integrate accounting data into growing ERP and carbon accounting systems.
- Strong collaboration skills to work across teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Motivation to operate in a dynamic, mission-driven manufacturing environment with a focus on precision and continuous improvement.
- Excellent understanding of operational excellence standards in accounting processes.
- Ability to support scaling of accounting infrastructure to support company growth.
