Job Description
The Lead IT Systems Engineer will design, implement, and manage the company's internal IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and data systems across multiple sites to support operational efficiency and data-driven growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy a unified IT software systems organization across multiple sites.
- Ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and data systems.
- Oversee the integration of internal systems, networks, and tools.
- Scale and optimize core internal IT systems for operational excellence and data-driven growth.
- Deploy systems at new sites and ensure harmonious integration of scaled systems.
- Develop and implement data warehousing strategies to ensure reliability, security, and quick access.
Requirements
- Experience in architecting and deploying a unified IT Software Systems organization, including bridging traditional IT functions with modern systems engineering.
- Proven ability to ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and data systems across multiple sites, including new and existing locations.
- Experience in overseeing the integration of internal systems, networks, and tools, with a focus on operational excellence and data-driven growth.
- Ability to deploy and scale IT systems at new sites, ensuring reliability, security, and quick fix availability.
- Experience in developing and implementing data warehousing strategies to support data reliability and security.
- Hands-on experience with system deployment, integration, and troubleshooting in a complex IT environment.
- Knowledge of security best practices for internal systems, networks, and data management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with external IT teams, particularly the Colorado IT team managing external IT resources.
- Strong communication skills to report to the CFO and coordinate with internal teams.
- Educational background or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-growing environment is preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
