Job Description
The Accounting Manager will oversee and improve the company's daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support the integration of accounting systems to facilitate the company's growth in carbon removal efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and refine the day-to-day accounting functions
- Oversee month-end close processes
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Strengthen internal controls across multiple facilities
- Integrate accounting data into ERP and carbon accounting systems
- Support scaling of the company's accounting infrastructure
Requirements
- Experience in leading and refining day-to-day accounting functions, including overseeing month-end close processes.
- Ability to collaborate across teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Experience in maintaining a high standard of operational excellence in accounting practices.
- Proficiency in strengthening internal controls across multiple facilities.
- Experience in integrating accounting data into ERP systems and carbon accounting systems.
- Ability to scale accounting infrastructure to support company growth.
- Motivation to work in a dynamic, mission-driven manufacturing environment with a focus on collaboration, precision, and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to work onsite two days per week in a hybrid role.
- Experience with financial reporting and operational accounting in a manufacturing or similar environment.
