Job Description
The Accounting Manager will oversee and improve the company's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting the integration of accounting systems to facilitate the company's growth in carbon removal initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and refine the day-to-day accounting functions.
- Oversee month-end close processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Strengthen internal controls across multiple facilities.
- Integrate accounting data into the ERP and carbon accounting systems.
- Support scaling of the company's accounting infrastructure to accommodate growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading and refining day-to-day accounting functions, including overseeing month-end close processes.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and experience in strengthening internal controls across multiple facilities.
- Experience in integrating accounting data into ERP systems and carbon accounting systems.
- Ability to collaborate across teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Motivation to work in a dynamic, mission-driven manufacturing environment with a focus on collaboration, precision, and continuous improvement.
- Working onsite two days per week in a hybrid role.
- Experience in scaling accounting infrastructure to support company growth.
- Knowledge of operational excellence standards in financial processes.
- Ability to lead and manage accounting operations in a manufacturing or similar environment.
