Job Description
This role involves providing economic and financial analysis related to intellectual property issues, managing client projects, preparing expert reports, and offering strategic insights across various industries within a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise assigned projects and team members
- Serve as the primary client contact and assist in presenting conclusions and recommendations
- Create and develop client deliverables, including expert reports and analyses
- Design complex financial models to analyze economic and financial data
- Oversee the creation of analyses and ensure their accuracy and integrity
- Summarize key issues from client documents, reports, and third-party data
- Provide strategic insights regarding project scope, budget, and staffing
- Lead recruiting, professional development, and internal initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field; an advanced degree is desirable.
- 6 to 10 years of finance, accounting or economic work experience with prior consulting or financial services experience preferred.
- Proven project management skills.
- Curious and analytical thinkers who bring creative approaches to non-standard problems.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial and or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
- Ability to independently conceptualize and identify issues, design complex financial models to analyze economic and financial data, and oversee the creation of analyses.
- Ability to create and develop client deliverables including expert reports summarizing opinions.
- Ability to effectively plan and manage assigned projects, including supervising and being accountable for the work of other team members.
- Ability to act as a primary point of contact for clients and assist in the presentation of conclusions and recommendations.
- Ability to summarize key issues identified from review of client documents, analyst reports, and third-party financial, market, and industry data.
- Willingness to travel minimally as required in the Intellectual Property practice.
- Possession of CFA or CPA professional certification is beneficial but not required.

Salary range of $130,000 - $152,500 with potential for bonus incentive compensation
