This role involves providing economic and financial analysis related to intellectual property issues, managing client projects, preparing expert reports, and offering strategic insights to support disputes, valuations, and transactions within a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and supervise assigned IP project teams and deliverables
Serve as primary client contact and assist in presenting conclusions and recommendations
Create and develop expert reports and client deliverables summarizing opinions
Conceptualize issues, design financial models, and oversee analyses of economic and financial data
Direct project scope, deliverables, and deadlines for team members
Summarize key issues from client documents, analyst reports, and third-party data
Provide strategic insights on project scope, budget, and staffing to leadership
Ensure accuracy and integrity of analyses and opinions
Lead and participate in recruiting, professional development, and practice initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field; an advanced degree is desirable
6 to 10 years of finance, accounting or economic work experience with prior consulting or financial services experience preferred
Proven project management skills

Ability to independently conceptualize and identify issues, design complex financial models to analyze economic and financial data, and oversee the creation of analyses
Willingness to travel minimally as required in the Intellectual Property practice
Ability to create and develop client deliverables including expert reports summarizing opinions
Ability to effectively plan and manage assigned projects, including supervising and being accountable for the work of other team members
Ability to act as a primary point of contact for clients and assist in the presentation of conclusions and recommendations
Ability to summarize key issues from review of client documents, analyst reports, and third-party financial, market, and industry data
Ability to provide strategic insights regarding project scope, budget, and staffing
Demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework, work experience, or activities
Work schedule flexibility with 3 to 4 days in the office per week
