Job Description
This role involves managing and executing intellectual property valuation and damages analysis projects, providing expert testimony, and delivering strategic insights to clients across various industries, with a focus on economic and financial analysis within a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise assigned intellectual property project engagements
- Serve as primary client contact and assist in presenting conclusions and recommendations
- Create and develop expert reports and client deliverables summarizing analyses and opinions
- Design complex financial models to analyze economic and financial data
- Oversee the creation of analyses and ensure the accuracy and integrity of findings
- Lead project team members on scope, deliverables, and deadlines
- Summarize key issues from client documents, analyst reports, and third-party data
- Provide strategic insights regarding project scope, budget, and staffing
- Contribute to recruiting, professional development, and practice initiatives
Requirements
- Candidates must have 10 years of finance, accounting, or economic work experience with proven project management skills.
- Candidates should possess a solid working knowledge of financial and economic concepts.
- Candidates must have strong business writing skills.
- Candidates should have prior consulting or financial services experience (preferred).
- Candidates should have an advanced degree or professional certification such as CFA or CPA (beneficial but not required).
- Candidates must be able to effectively plan and manage assigned projects, including supervising and being accountable for the work of other team members.
- Candidates must act as a primary point of contact for clients and assist in the presentation of conclusions and recommendations.
- Candidates must create and develop client deliverables including expert reports summarizing opinions.
- Candidates must independently conceptualize and identify issues, design complex financial models to analyze economic and financial data, and oversee the creation of analyses.
- Candidates must direct project team members on project scope, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Candidates must summarize key issues identified from review of client documents, analyst reports, and third-party financial, market, and industry data.
- Candidates must provide strategic insights to leadership team regarding project scope, budget, and staffing.
- Candidates must ensure the integrity and accuracy of analyses and opinions.
- Candidates must lead and participate in recruiting and professional development efforts, as well as other practice, office, and corporate initiatives.
- Candidates must have the ability to learn quickly, solve problems, prioritize tasks, and communicate well with team members and clients.
- Candidates must be willing to travel minimally, with the expectation of spending 3 to 4 days per week in the office, including potential travel to other CRA offices or client locations.

Salary range of $175,000 - $250,000 with potential for bonus incentive compensation
