Job Description
The internship involves supporting consulting projects in the life sciences sector by conducting research, analyzing data, and assisting in the development of reports and presentations, with opportunities to gain industry knowledge and consulting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver strategy, policy, and economic consulting projects addressing client needs
- Conduct independent research to identify, collect, manage, and analyze qualitative insights and quantitative data
- Contribute to internal discussions by building insights from analytical processes and integrating findings into broader project deliverables
- Participate in interviews with clients or external stakeholders, either by phone or face-to-face
- Generate sections of client reports, presentations, and other deliverables under supervision
- Develop knowledge of the life sciences industry and consulting methodologies proactively
- Engage in practice-building activities such as training and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Bachelor-, Master- oder PhD-Studenten mit starker akademischer Leistung von einer erstklassigen Institution mit Schwerpunkt auf Biowissenschaften, Wirtschaft oder verwandten Fächern wie Betriebswirtschaft, Gesundheitsökonomie und -politik, öffentliche Politik, Naturwissenschaften, Mathematik, Statistik, Ingenieurwesen oder einer anderen quantitativen Disziplin
- Kenntnisse in der Microsoft Office Suite Word, PowerPoint, Outlook und Excel sowie Verständnis für Internetrecherchen
- Erfahrung in oder starkes Interesse an der Life-Sciences-Branche und dem Gesundheitswesen
- Verständnis wirtschaftlicher Konzepte und Geschäftsprozesse sowie Vertrautheit mit wesentlichen Beratungsmethoden, -werkzeugen und -techniken ist sehr hilfreich
- Effektive schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten auf Englisch; weitere Sprachen sind von Vorteil
- Starke Selbstmanagementfähigkeiten, Detailorientierung, effektives Zeitmanagement und Fähigkeit zur Priorisierung
- Nachgewiesenes hohes Maß an Initiative und Führung
- Hervorragende Teamarbeit und Kollaboration
- Klares und nachgewiesenes Interesse an Beratung durch Kursarbeit, Arbeitserfahrung, Aktivitäten oder Teilnahme an CRA-Rekrutierungsveranstaltungen
- Bereitschaft, im Rahmen des Praktikums 5 Tage die Woche im Büro zu arbeiten
- Bereitschaft, bei Bedarf an Reisen zu CRA-Büros oder Kundenstandorten teilzunehmen
